President Trump's Iran War Timeline Remains Unclear

President trump has been attempting to reassure anxious americans that the iran war will soon come to an end, but he has yet to provide a clear explanation of how this will be achieved.

Speaking from the White House on wednesday, trump stated, 'i can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of america's military objectives shortly. very shortly.'

However, days earlier, defense secretary pete hegseth, who had recently returned from a trip to the middle east, painted a different picture of the ongoing conflict.

'this war — operation epic fury — is the exact opposite of the war i fought in iraq two decades ago,' hegseth said, emphasizing that the current conflict is not a 'grinding treadmill' like its predecessor.
