Prosecutors Seek Tiger Woods’ Prescription Records Amid DUI Case

Prosecutors Move to Subpoena Tiger Woods’ Prescription Records

Tiger Woods has pleaded not guilty in his driving under the influence case in Florida, which occurred after he rolled his SUV in a beachside, residential area.

Prosecutors in Florida are seeking Woods' prescription drug records from a local pharmacy, Lewis Pharmacy in Palm Beach, Florida. The records, which date back to the start of the year through the end of last month, include information such as the times the prescriptions were filled, the number of pills, the dosage amounts, and any instructions that accompanied the pills.

The prosecutors are seeking this information to determine if Woods' prescription medications may have contributed to his impaired driving. Any objections to the subpoena must be filed with the State Attorney's Office within 10 days.

This is not the first time Woods has been involved in a car crash. In 2009, he took a leave of absence after his SUV crashed into a fire hydrant and tree outside his home near Orlando. He also suffered a serious car crash in 2021 in Los Angeles that damaged his right leg.

Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge and has agreed to a Breathalyzer test, which showed no signs of alcohol. However, he refused a urine test, authorities said.
