Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi has expressed his admiration for the British rock band Deep Purple, revealing a personal connection to the group that dates back to his university days.
According to sources, Takaichi was an active member of a Deep Purple tribute band, where he played the keyboard. He later transitioned to playing the drums, a move that was likely influenced by his intense performances, which often resulted in broken drumsticks. As a result, he was known to carry multiple sets of drumsticks with him.
